China Energy News Network (Wang Gang) - At 2:50 am on July 15th, the 1130 Baituan Second Line of the 330 kV Baihe Substation in Lanzhou, Gansu Province was successfully put into operation and entered 24-hour trial operation.
On July 16th, the Cable Operation and Inspection Center of State Grid Lanzhou Power Supply Company conducted live testing on key parts such as cable terminal joints and drainage lines of the line. After all data was normal, it reported to Lanzhou Land Dispatch for application for return to service, marking the smooth operation of the first 110 kV public network outgoing cable of the 330 kV Baihe Substation.
It is reported that in order to ensure the smooth completion and operation of the key project, the Cable Operation and Inspection Center, as the provincial cable professional management department and equipment operation unit, is responsible for project management and safety supervision to supervise the entire process of the construction site, and provide technical support to the construction unit, guiding and helping them to jointly complete key and difficult work. At the same time, the center has arranged dedicated personnel to complete the on-site acceptance work of the cable outer sheath, lightning arrester, and main insulation withstand voltage handover test. During the process, the center effectively strengthened on-site safety control, especially when working in limited spaces. Ventilation devices were installed during construction operations to ensure the personal safety of on-site workers. In addition, full technical supervision and control of key processes such as cable laying and terminal production are carried out to ensure the safe and stable operation of cables after they are put into operation.
The construction of the 330 kV Baihe Power Station and its supporting 110 kV cable transmission project is a key project in the construction of the Lanzhou power grid. It mainly meets the increasing demand for power grid load in the eastern main urban area of Lanzhou and optimizes the incoming line network structure of 110 kV substations such as Yantan, Tianshui, and Tuanjie in the Lanzhou area. The 1130th Regiment Second Line put into operation this time is responsible for the important electricity load of electrified railways, enterprises and institutions in the eastern part of Lanzhou City. The smooth operation of the line will further enhance the reliability and quality of power supply in the eastern region of Lanzhou, providing a strong power guarantee for the economic and social development of Lanzhou.
